Epoxy in heads and fast intake?

Arrow Epoxy in heads and fast intake?

i got a set of prc ls6 head and iam trying to match the intake to the heads. i took apart the fast intake and smoothed out the intire intake. now iam trying to match the ports, i ported it to basically gasket match it and now i dont wana port it out much more and dont wana grind at the heads to much so i wana epoxy the runner of the heads and intake, does anyone know what kinda epoxy to use the will stick to the aluminum heads and plastic intake with out cracking off? ive uses jb quick on race car heads and havent had any problems but thats just for a short period off time, my car is my daily driver, any help appriciated thanks again tech!... matt

I don't think I would want to be worrying about some epoxy cracking and getting sucked in my motor for the maybe 5-10 hp I might get. Expecially on my daily driver that will be put through a lot more heat cycles than what a race car engine would see.

thats what i was thinking to, ill wait and see what other people have to say also before i do my H/C/I swap, then ill decide what i wana do, but ill probly go with your opinion, thanks for the input, matt
