ground points in 1996 impala ss LT1
hi,
i just got some battery cables from innovativewiring.com, and the pamplet that came with the cables says to route one of the ground wires (the fat long one) up by the alternator, following the route of the original cable. sadly i don't have an original cable to look at (got the engine with out the cable) so i dont know where this is supposed to be bolted onto the front of the block. could i put it on the side of the block? there's a threaded hole that is by the knock sensor near the front of the engine.
any ideas? i seem to remember when i pulled the alternator brackets out of a busted caprice at the junkyard that a negative cable was mounted around there, but i'm not exactly sure. any help would be great!
thanks,
tyler
