Default intake question

i had a guy tell me that a ls2 intake would bolt up to ls1 heads. i didn't think they would. is this guy just tryiny to sell me something or will they really work?

the ls2 intake WILL bolt up to an Ls1, however for the work and the money you will see minimal gains, if any gains at all. Some have reported loss in HP after this install, go with an aftermarket ls1 or ls6 intake.

are you planning on doing heads and cam at the same time as doing the intake? there can be a gain, it is a better intake than an ls1 and ls6 but only slightly. so if you are tearin into **** anyways and u can get a good deal on one then ok do it. but if you are stock heads and cam and just want a better intake, its not worth the PITA.
