5.3 ls swap into 94 bird hey guy i have a 94 trans am with a 383 lt1 in it and i think its time for a new direction.
I have a 5.3 ls motor out of an avalanch sitting in my garage with the wiring harness, computer, and pully system. i am going to add a cam and head package to it but not sure what i really want to do yet.
My question is will the wiring harness and computer work with my car and will a tubular k member for an ls1 camaro work for this motor and will the pully setup work as well?

In short, your motor will bolt in with the K member and the truck accessories might even fit. I would swap to F-body or accessories due to a lack of space in the engine bay. The wiring is far from a plug and play deal because I have seen the thread to repin the LS based harness to properly connect to the LT-1 body harness. Unfortunately I can not find that particular thread for some reason. I know it is lurking somewhere here on LS1Tech, If you find it, let me know.
