Default First runs on the Camaro

Ok so I went to the local 1/8th mile track today and put down some passes. I think there is more to be had out of the car for sure. I just need to figure out what to do to make it come out of the hole. I kept spinning every time. Here are the stats though.

60' - 1.994
1/2 track - 5.369
E.T. - 8.121
MPH - 89.967

This was on Nitto 555R Extreme Drag radials. Stock suspension. 3500 TCI Street Fighter stall convertor, 3.73 rear end in a stock 10 bolt, and all on motor. No nitrous or forced induction on the car.

Is that a decent run? What can I change to get in the 7 second club? And what would my time translate to in 1/4 mile?

You can go 7.60s if you work on the 60'. It has the power.
