my front right rotor overheating...need help

Default my front right rotor overheating...need help

i did cross drilled slotted rotors and new pads and all are working fine but front right which i had to replace the caliper....drove it today(just got install finished) and it got so hot the rim was too hot to touch...what could be the problem?

Bad caliper or bad flexible hose.

That or one more thing to check is the bracket pins that the caliper slides on. One sticks or freezes it won't release. Are the pads worn flat?

Unlikely. These cars used sealed hub assemblies, never seen one overheat to the point of the wheel actually getting hot.

As the other guys said, its either your caliper (stuck piston), flex hose (collapsed), or caliper slide pins (seized).

You said you replaced the caliper, where did you buy the it from??
