Default rear end interchange?

Hello i have a 97 camaro z28 with traction contrl that has a bad rear end i picked up a rear end from a 95 formula firebird and went to put it in and realized that my 97s rear end has the hook up for the traction control behind the wheel and the 95 rear end has the traction control plug on the pumpkin whats the difference?

Default

the plug on the pumpkin is an ABS only rearend.
You could swap axles and backing plates between rearends to use the 'new' rearend as a TC & ABS setup.
That would require disassembly(except for the pinion) of both rearends.
