"apparently you don't understand. he never drives it, he just rubs it with a diaper"
seriously, i can appreciate a low mileage car but 18 miles? At least drive it.

I know a few people that do that, buy a new, hope-to-be-rare-someday, car and then never drive it. One has a '78 Vette Indy Pace Car, and a '89 TTA both w/ less than 10 miles on the odos. Of course he also has another one of each that he drives. Another recently purchased a '78 Vette w/ 4 miles on the odo, factory plastic still on the seats and carpet. Must be nice to have that much spare change laying around (and a building to store the toys).

Well, these guys really weren't doing it for "investment" reasons to make a buck, these were essentially one of the many toys they own in their relatively large collection. Purely disposable income for them. And when you have new Z06s or ZR1s as daily drivers, driving about anything in the collection is a step backwards in enjoyment.

All i see is a depreciated Transam Convertible, certainly not a 50k car.
I think buying a car for investment purposes is stupid. You'd do better investing that money elsewhere.
Unless of course you bought a ZL1 camaro in the 60's or something of that nature. But certainly not an LS1 fbody.
