Valve Springs So I was looking in a magazine and the part number for valve springs were in there. Magazine "Chevy LS1/LS6 V-8s Modifying and Tuning GenIII Engines"
LS1 97-04 PN 12553696 natural color
LS6 02-04 PN 12553696 yellow color
LQ4 99-04 PN 12553696 natural color
LQ9 02-04 PN 12552696 natural color (common to LS1 PN 12553696)
So what is the actual difference except the color? Are they actually all the same spring just different colors?
I am putting a LS6 cam in my car and worder do I really need to change valve spings?
