Default 98 z28 suspension on 93 v6?

I want to swap the springs/shocks from 98 z28 on to my 93 v6 firebird. I want the stiffer ride and better handling of the z28. I believe it should all be a direct swap but will the z28 springs sit higher in the front since they are designed for the heavier v8?

they might sit a tad higher, but it probably wont even be noticeable. I think the LS1 springs are a tad softer than the LT1 springs anyways. The stock springs are progressive, so it should compress down to the normal height. Besides, I dont think that there is too much of a weight difference from the L32 to the LS1.
