6 speed auto
Has anyone seen or heard anything about this 6speed turbo hydromatic auto from GM?I saw something about it in a magazine, it gave hp and torque ratings on it.They said it was for the trucks and possibly performance applications.

I have a 10 speed automatics. It's in our 2004 Freighliner Columbia's, but I doubt it will fit in my Camaro. Currently changing all of our trucks over to automatics. The computer helps adjust for grade and load. Saves $$$ on fuel. Okay, your not interested in all that posh.
Mercedes makes a 6 speed automatic for thier luxo-barge S class. GM may have some sort of working passenger class 6 speed automatic. But I wouldn't count on a release anytime soon. GM always waits to see what everyone else does, then they procede. I can't wait to see if they water down the GTO "Judge" project to the point that it only has stickers, wheels, and an exhaust package. Instead of making it a Cobra killing NA beast.
