What is a reasonable price to repair 1x2" hole in rear bumper cover and repaint

Default What is a reasonable price to repair 1x2" hole in rear bumper cover and repaint

What do you guys think. Plastic weld the hole shut, glaze over it, prep and paint the rear bumper cover.

What would be the "cash" price for good quality work. Not "buddy work" professional work.

My brother has a pretty good hole in his bumper that he wants me to fix... Materials around 200-250 bucks for good ****.

A shop will charge around 800-1000.

thats way too high. I had both bumpers, side gfx and headlight doors painted a few years ago for $800. I was told it's ~ $300 per large panel for paint. I had my unpainted never used WS6 hood slightly repaired, painted and installed as well as the headlight doors again and the roof panel painted for $730. and neither of those shops were of the Maaco variety, they were quality body shops.
