Default 12.25@119mph---2.025/60ft

Took my H/C 98 C5 vert-M6 to the track Wednesday night and my best run was a 12.25@ 119mph. 60ft was 2.025 on some old Toyo 888 Dr's.

Does my 60ft seem a lil high? Maybe the tires? Probably the driver--

I was searching the forum and I feel my trap speed should put me in the 11's with a good launch so I am looking for some advice on getting my 60ft time lower...............

You could be mid 11's easy with the right launch and driving. That 2.0 60' needs to get down to at least a 1.7 or so. My advice first and formost is replace the toyos with Mickey Thompson street radials. 20 psi and a 5 second burnout net me 1.5-1.6 60's pretty consistantly.

Then it's just a matter of perfecting your launching with the stick shift. I would avoid clutche dumps if you still have a 10 bolt. But you might want to try 3500 rpm's and slipping the clutch to see if you can get a 1.8 or so 60'. That should solidily get you in the 11's.

Good luck.

^He's in a Vette.

You have the power to run low-mid 11s. You just need to get some track time and learn how to launch the car. Maybe some tires too, I am not familiar with those tires. Changing the gear in the car would help a lot too depending on what it has in it now. I wouldn't put anything numerically lower than 4.10s in it.

Yeah, I'm in a corvette. I believe 3.42's come with the 6sp. I've heard alot of good about the MT- ET's, I'll have to find some.

Dynoed last week: 415rwhp/385rwtq

I'm spinning alot off the line and really need to find that sweet spot for a good launch.

Definitely new tires first and foremost. Then you just gotta practice, practice, practice.
