I think if there has not been a follow up for almost 1 year, then it's proabably a dead issue.
There had been Rumors in CT that one of the Indian reservation casinos would be building a indoor track w/ 1/4mi strip. People to this day ask about it and its been a dead issue for 2-3 years.

The Palmer track is being developed by the New England region of the SCCA
It is moving forward but slowly with all the permits and approvals needed. At this time the plans are for only a road race course, No dragstrip and even more upsetting, no Autocross area. The SCCA and the financial backers of this project have seen fit to exclude a large portion of their own club( autoxers) . They they had the nerve to ask the autox people to become investors. This is years from even being started and they are only in it for the bigger return of roadrace track rentals. With only 2 roadrace courses in the NE area and all the restrictions, the rentals are booked up years in advance. Yea there are a lot of dragracers in NE but roadracing is the area where people burn cash like its firewood. its not uncommon for a trackday fee to be 200-300, as opposed to 20-30 for a street night at a strip
