Default Granatelli STB Help!

So a buddy of mine has a non adjustable Granatelli STB.
He is selling it to me for $40 bucks.
Now... when I went to his house to see if it would fit on my LS1, It didnt.
I called another friend of mine to help me out on what I can do in order for it to fit. He said that it should fit no matter what since it fits all, 93-02.
What can I do in order to make it fit if this is true???
Need Help.

Hello
I noticed that you are looking into a STB. And I just wanted to leave you know for an extra $25 + S/H UMI Performance offers a STB in mild steel that will solid up the front and help with handling. Below is a link to show you what I am explaining.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
Thanks
Brad
