Anybody Have Problems With Threading Their ARP Crank Bolt?
I cant seem to get my bolt to thread into the crank, my buddy couldnt thread his ARP bolt into his engine either. Im wondering if this is a more widespread problem.

yup, its an ARP issue. The thread on the ARP bolts are cut "sharper" if you will then the stocker. It doesnt want to thread in there at all. Ive put 3 of them in, and each time i had to re-tap the crank snout before even trying to put the ARP in. Then it went in with ease.

I've never tried to put an ARP bolt into a stock crank but put one in my Eagle. It went right in without any drama.
I wonder if it has something to do with the factory thread lock.
