Turn signal switch
has anyone replaced a turn signal switch in a 99+ TA? i have alldata and the only thing they show me is the connector which doesn't do me any good. so any help would be greatly appreciated.

you need to disconnect batt, disable air bag syst., remove air bag, remove steering wheel, remove hazard/flasher **** with phillips head, remove snap ring/hold down ring, remove clockspring, there should be a couple of phillips head screws that hold the turn signal canel switch down, remove lower knee/kick panel to access turn signal switch connector at bottom of coulmn, then remove turn/multifunction switch and disconnect harness from bottom of steering column. Re-install in reverse order.
You will need a special tool to remove the hold down spring for the clock spring. It threads onto the steering shaft then you turn another nut on the tool to slightly depress the clockspring so the retaining ring can be removed
