Can you sand down the clear or just spray a flat clear over it? I want my pewter camaro to look like this.

There are clears that you can add a flattening agent to, but if you ever buff any part of it, it will gain shine again. The old school way of flattening clear coat is by adding talcum powder.

There are a couple of ways to do it but I would hit the car up with 600g then use DUPONT number 2370S its a flexable matte clear that was designed to be used on bumpers like the ones that where on the Dodge Caravan that had no clear and the rest of the car did. but what everyone elce has been saying should work as well.

or you can use PPG`S flex n flat clear, its a clear designed to be mixed in degree of gloss, from 5% to 12% gloss, i personlly like mixing it at 10% of gloss it gives the egg shell look, and the product is uv protected and can be cleaned like regular clear and it still maintains a flat look
its amazing stuff
