I'm from Texas around Beaumont. I've had several Camaros and have a 70 right now. I joined to learn about the LS series engine. Where is there a database to learn of all the differences between ls1, ls2, ls3, lq9, ly4 and the liking. I want to understand what all the different models share and what their strengths are. Thanks for any help.

Well I think I found what I was looking for. I just aquired a 2004 6.0 out of an Escalade and was wondering If this was a good starting point. What is it's designation? It says 345 hp in the Escalade but I'm sure that can easily be improved upon. Just looking for suggestions where to start. The engine has the harness, manifolds and is complete from top to bottom with all accessories to the fan. It even has the convertor on the flywheel.
