i know there are a few of you on here that are actively numbering 1le and special production cars, thought i would link you to one i found on CL here in tx since they are very rare. this one looks like its lived a rough life compared to most survivors

My friends x-girlfriend has 1 in ruffer shape than that 1 and want to much money for it so it sits and is getting worse.

That car simply may have been used for what it was originally intended for: Racing! 1LE's were not intended for covering it up in a garage and storing it for several years. I owned 1993 Z28 1LE #11 of 19 and I raced the sh*t out of that car when I had it! And still sold it for a very nice sum.

I can't answer for him. However, I doubt GM provided any numbering of the 1LEs. Most likely they were compiled from owner's clubs based on the VIN sequence.

This car is on ebay as well...it's a Formula WS6 (rare enough on it's own compared to a ws6 ta), and ontop of that it's a legit 1LE...very cool, very scarce.
