Default need help!

i have this sound coming that seems to be coming from the rear. i can hear it both when im turning and going straight. i replaced both front wheel bearings. i jacked the car up and spun the wheels in the rear. but it just sounds like the spider gears spinning. im hoping its not the rear end. maybe wheel bearings? u-joints on the driveshaft? it sounds like a rock stuck in a tire. maybe a popping sound? but its not as consistent.

btw i checked all tires for rocks and pieces of metal. lol

thanks any help will be appreciated. its driving me nuts.

If you've ruled out u-joints, then it's probably time to pull the cover off the rear end and take a look.

do the rear ends start to pop sometime when they are going bad? the locker not fully disengaging? other that that noise the car runs pretty smooth. im gonna pull the cover tomorrow.
