Map sensor and round part on manifold
I broke the map sensor on the back of my manifold...the motor is out but I think the little piece fell back inside( if its possible). How do you remove the round part in the back of the intake manifold for me to try and remove it? It doesn't seem to unscrew or anything.

i made a tool to get that plug out, had a similar situation. you cannot buy that seperately, i had a corvette intake with a broken port, and i swapped it out with my 98 camaro ls1 intake,
found a transmission part, it was like a ring, then had to slice a small notch in it. then dropped it down in the intake, and used something to push it down. there are tangs on the inside that have to be squeezed in to get that plug out. if you need pics, i think i still have it laying around. it needs to be just the right diameter.
but like i said, you cant buy a new one, so its only useful if you have a new plug to put in, or need the plug out to do some repair

oh, if its the map sensor thats broken off inside that plug and the plug is still good,(no broken nipples) then youll have to do what i explained, or carefully drill/tap the little peice thats in there so you can pull it out
