Default LS1 for L59 swap, crank trigger still 24x?

The crank trigger on my 97 LS1 block is surely a 24x. Now I am swapping it into my 2006 Tahoe that has a 5.3 Flex Fuel motor, I am pretty sure it's an L59 right? Everything I read online says they are both 24x crank triggers. But the reluctor wheels look totally different. Can anyone confirm the crank triggers are both 24x? Thanks guys

97 LS1 block, as in from a Corvette? I think that is a 58x.

Yes it is from a 98 Vette, but the block is stamped 97. I thought the 58x did not start until the LS2 and the rest of the gen IV from what I have been reading. Can I just count teeth on the reluctor wheel? Or does it not work like that?

OK, I think this thread by looking at the pics has answered my question....
https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...wheel-24x.html

The 58x looks totally different from the 24x. Both of my crank wheels look like the 24x one. The just are not lined up 100% the same in relation to the counterweight on the crank. But they for sure both look like the 24x and nothing like the 58x crank wheels, both have black sensors too. Thanks guys.
