Default Question about P/S Brackets and thread size *Pics*

Hello,

I have a fbody ls1 that came with a P/S bracket but no P/S pump. I purchased a P/S pump that was supposed to be a fbody pump, but I have a problem. The size of the bolts that are attached to the pump are larger in diameter than the threads in the bracket. Here are some pictures:

The pump:

The screws attached to the pump:

The bracket:

My question is, are their differences in brackets / pumps between years on fbody LS1s? Alternatively, can anyone confirm that I purchased a fbody pump? If not, then what is it?

I appreciate any help. "P/S" is hard to search for.

Or maybe the PO just replace the stock screws with beefier ones and tapped his bracket accordingly? Maybe that's what I should do too. Can anyone confirm that the pump is at least clocked correctly for an fbody LS1?

Appreciate the help
