has any one put these on a ford 8.8 rear and if so how are you geting the axcles out of the rear for gear changes

I use the 9" ends on all my 8.8 builds. You will need to get the 9" bearing when you order axles.

are you geting the early or late style ends and also when taking axles out how are you doing that if they are pressed in

The brake backing plate holds the axles in. Its not the early or late. I use Strange ends and the brakes will bolt to them.

I'm not too familiar with the Strange ends, but you can also order the Moser 7900FM 9" ends. The 7900FM ends will let you bolt up your stock brakes and backing plates. Again, I'm sure the Strange ends are great, as well, but I've always used the Moser ends...which are top notch. Just get the set of ends that are less expensive...sounds like you can't go wrong with either brand. As mentioned above, make sure you order the correct bearings when you order the ends.
