Default 2002 ls1 crankshaft? how much horse to the wheels can it support if polished???

ive heard about 700 rwhp safely. let me know. at about 700 rwhp you should have a low 9 second ride im guessing. let me know. thinkin about building a motor with a stock polished crank, forged pistons and forged rods. i plan to boost this motor with 317 heads, an epp blower cam, and an ls6 intake along with at least a 255 walbro and 60 lbs injectors. trying for about 650-700 rwhp with a good tune.

An LS1 crank has the ability to hold up to 1K hp as is. The weakest parts in the LS1 motor are the pistons, and rods. You get forged rods and pistons and the right set up and your good. Hell the block can also handle 1K hp, so really what it comes deown to is your set up and tune.

They have been tested to 1500hp and have not broken. They did however start to bend. You have absolutely nothing to worry about. The stock crank went 6's I believe in Wheel 2 Wheel's turbo LSX they put in Casper.
