Default CTS-V AC compressor compatible with 1999 F-body PCM?

I assume the CTS-V compressor is the same cycling clutch setup as the stock F-body compressor? I'm installing it into a Miata, and the CTS-V compressor is the only one I can get to fit in it.

Also, looking at the schematic, it says I need to put a Diode across the green and black wires on the compressor. Any insight on either or both of these items would be awesome!

Also curious also... I'm doing V8 conversion on a RX7.
I bought this 19155066 - GMPP Accessory Drive System With A/C kit, which is the CTS-V kit and more closely resembles the FBODY layout. (Vette layout doesnt fit).

I have a 2002 Fbody harness and PCM. I hope this combo will still work or I just blew more money on the wrong stuff.

I don't know as I have not see them. But I can tell you that it can work (or not).. From what I have seen.. there are at lease two different mounting brackets and compressor housing mounting bosses. Some have the same size mounting bosses or configuration others are stagered with two different size bosses or blocks.

Could just require the correct mounting bracket if that is the only different. Wiring it up most likely can be easy enough to do or change pig tails if needed.

Its all installed and the wiring is done (minus the possible resistor that needs soldered in), but I am seeing what kind of power the CTS-V takes. It is in those in between years where they were going to the variable I think.
