cowl removed... has anyone removed, cut off their windshield cowl... or have any links or pictures of how they did it... After so many years of working on these cars i would so love to be able to pop my hood and see the front of my engine as well as the very back !... I have seen it done like in some magazines but never a clear instruction on how it's done

you still won't fully see the back of the motor...part of it is under the windshield.
A few pics of what I did...not the best...but it works for what I need. Bottom side isn't finished yet (thats why the bottom is rough).
