Default Why does my 81TTA weigh 4750??

Hi all, Im trying a LS turbo swap into a 81TTA, and i found the build sheet behing the back seat, it says the car weigh 4750. Im installing a LQ4, with turbo. I cleaned, and installed new body bushings, did the fuel system, got the harness all done, and fired the engine to make sure it runs, need to start on the hot side waiting on the pipes, but how can i lighten the car? It came with 3.08 posi, and only half a frame(Sub Frame) why is it so heavy? I thought my 87 Grandnational was heavy!

Thats probably the "GVRW", or Gross Vehicle Rated Weight which is the maximum load capacity of a vehicle.

So if the car had 4 people in it, full tank of gas, max towing tongue weight, filled trunk up to its max rated weight limit, stuff like that.

That is the cars weight with 4 average weight in it.It should be around 3500-3600lbs.My 1980 Z-28 w/ a 305 was 3445lbs stock then w/ a big block and without a/c & heat and front bumper it was 3500 even w/ me in it.
