my car wont shift into overdrive ! please help my 1998 trans am just started not shifting into over drive! can it be a sensor? do i need to rebuild my tranny? any help would be helpful, i dont wana spend money ona rebuild if i dont need it. i just had my rear end done, any relation?

i know that when mine did that overdrive went out and trashed the whole tranny. so i would recomment stop now pull it and have it looked at. It could also be if you changed gears but i know that od went out in mine. You would try to go to od and it would stay at the rpm just bog.
