Default S10 LSX swappers/Charcoal cannister

What did you do with your charcoal cannister and solenoid? Did you retain it or just eliminate it?

Thanks in advance.

This is very important in some of the fuel strategies in some of the operating Systems.

If you were to tune the PCM and just turn off the DTC's in some (most) of GM Operating Systems you would cause a lean condition under certain conditions. Plus you would have fuel vapors and odors in your garage.

Yes you can compensate for it not being connected, but you are wasting fuel and time.

I removed the Purge Solenoid and use the port as a vacuum port to my Charcoal Canister to handle the Vapors coming from the Tank. Purge Valve was tuned out of the PCM as was most of the other smog accessories and codes.
