Default .045 quench too much?

im putting together a 370, and the pistons i have combined with the deck height i have, is going to put me .0048 in the hole, with a .040 gasket, i will have almost .045 quench. is this too much? i would like to tighten it up to .035 or so, but thats gonna be putting an awfully thin gasket on it.

Is it just a N/A motor or is it going to see spray/boost? I think you'll be fine at .045", I run .042" on my 370ci with 12:1 SCR and run fine on 91 octane.

If you're going to spray it, don't go any tighter on quench. Your nitrous tuning window gets smaller as quench gets tighter.
