Default Alternator question

Does antone know if there is a more powerful alternator available for a '99 Z28? I need more than the stock 108 amp output for my stereo equipment. Thanks in advance!

What are your experiences with these alts. Are they noisy?

I think jmX bought one from Mr. Alternator and wasn't impressed. Haven't checked prices lately but Stinger and Ohio Generator used to be some of the big names in alternators but expect to pay $600+ for a 200 amp.
