broke pan hard bar

broke pan hard bar snapped my pan hard bar in half today on the way to work anyone know what would cause this axle wrap wheel hop or what just wondering?

idk i think mine was just getting ready to go prolly from it still being a factory pan hard bar and just couldnt handle the power anymore i hit a bump and it just snapped then my car started walking all over the highway
