Default arching from the coil plug at the opti to the coil

what could cause this the wires are new and the coil is new need help real quick could it be the opti ?

i thought about that and even tried to put elterica tap around that wire just to see and it is still doing it i have some more wires at home might have to give thouse a try but it is arching all the way up from the wire from the opti plug part to the coil could a cracked opti case cause this?

Yes, cracked cap is usually the case if its not a bad spot in the wire.

yeah i tore it all apart today and the guy that had it before me must have put a vented opti on it and he broke the pice that was supposed to be for the vacumm (grammer) lol on the top of the opti and all he did was put some clear silocon and a pice of tape over it
