Default HELP: Clutch Issues

Hey guys, trying to get my clutch issues figured out finally. Fist thing on my agenda, how do you tell if your Slave Cylinder needs replacement? Is it suppose to have some play in it, obviously no leaks. Anything I should be looking for to see if its worn out or not funtioning properly?

If it can't hold pressure and goes to the floor by fading while the clutch is pressed. If it is leaking fluid it's the slave. If no fluid look into gettig a new master. Also if the pedal is stuck on the floor after a shift and you can't get the pedal up. The plastic part of the slave got caught on the slaves aluminum tip and is stock. Sometimes that is caused by a bad throw out bearing. Also if it is making a bad bearing sound when the clutch is pressed. That is a possible sign of a bad throw out bearing.
