150k miles...ASA Cam or no?
I use my car as a d.d. and already have the cam, pushrods, valvesprings, gaskets, etc. but now I am trying to decide whether to install it. I have d.d. my car since it had 60k miles on it when I bought it a few years ago and will be putting another 30k miles on it before getting a truck and the camaro becomes a playtoy. (I'm planning an LS3 when this motor goes so the cam will be useless later)
I want the cam for the chop and more power but won't kill the valvetrain. I have full bolt-ons (1 7/8 Kooks), suspension, ls7 clutch, original M6 that shifts great still, 4.10s.
My buddy wants to buy everything and I won't take a big loss on all the parts if I decide not to.
What would y'all do? How bad will mileage be affected?
Thanks!

So is it safe to do this or not, i may want to do something like this myself for ***** n giggles. I have 140k with pretty much the same thing he has, ls7 clutch, built tranny, stock gears, longtubes, intake ect..
I know my lifters will fall most likely so heads will have to come off, but they have to anyway because i have a bent valve, so is it safe to put aftermarket heads on a high mileage motor as-well?
