Default cleaning a block question

i have a 302 bare block that me and my brothers stipped for his 2000 f150..My question is what is the best way to clean up the block ourselves..everything is in great shape just wanting to get it clean before we put it back together...what to use the clean all the nooks and crannies

Take it down to the carwash, bring lots of degreaser. Simple as that.

Simple green... Don't forget to oil the machined parts after your done.

Check out Goodson.com for brushes. They'll really help getting all the crap out from all of the various oil passages.
