i wonder if tire shops take a trade in on new tires if the used tires are like new...any thoughts...and if so who does this..

Hey:

Just ask, Some do, but at your expense, they will sell them and make a profit, or not take them in trade, they are a business after all. Why not just sell them on Craiglists, ebay, or local then buy what you want, you'll probably come out ahead that way, but it does take longer.

I have totally done this with the little Mexican Bodega shops on Northside Main in Ft.Worth.

Some small tire shops do that, but you wont get what you paid for the tire.
at least around my area.
your better off selling them on the street.
