LT1 valve guides.
I need to have an intake valve guide replaced in one of my heads. The machine shop that is doing it says they cannot get the guide as it is bigger than any aftermarket guide they work with. I was told to go to GM. I went to a stealership and they could not locate one on the parts diagram. This is the exact diagram:
Does anyone know where I can locate a valve guide? I am sorry I do not know the casting number of the head, I can get it for you if need be.
Thanks!

Are these stock valve guides you are looking for? The machine shop I use also complained of the guides in my LT4 being an oddball size, but they found ones to use. Since mine are ported from LPE I figured they used a different guide. If you'd like to call the shop I use they've built LTx engines by the boat load and may be able to answer your question.
