3rd gear grind My transmission recently started to grind going into third. I'm assuming its the 3-4 synchro or that's what I've been told. My friend knows transmission as that's what he does all day everyday but doesn't have the tools to fix it. Does anyone live in the southwest subburbs of chicago that likes sidejobs?

He works for a transmission shop...but he doesn't have the tools to do it in his garage. And he's not allowed to do personal work at his work
