cam/Double roller timing set?

cam/Double roller timing set? Will these 2 work together on a 388 stroker (scat 6 inch h-beam rods) with electric water pump and newer style opti spark? or do I need a small base comp 306? I already have the regular base cam and the timing set thats listed and motor guy said it might not clear rods. I am building this motor with all new parts so I can get the later optispark, etc..
