Anyone make a harwood TA hood functional
Just getting around to making my hood functional, I just bought a radiator support off a WS6 and will recieve it shortly.
Now I'm wondering if anyone has made this work or have any imput on this.
Should I just drill holes in the front or buy "grills" that fit, I like the idea of a grill more but do OEM ones fit the harwood profile?
Then just open up the back of the hood to match the intake?
Thanks

I made the Harwood hood functional on my old T/A. It wasn't hard, I just cut a large rectangle in the back to allow maximum air flow to the fipk I was running and then roughly cut out the nostril opening in the front and sanded them to perfection. Now if I were to do it again, or still had the car, I would bridge the 2 holes with mat and resin to have unobstructed airflow. It's also a good idea to paint the cavity black because it stands out if left alone. As far as grills go I had no interest in putting them on the car so I'm not sure if it can be done. I think they attach with 2 screws on opposite corners so i guess if you left some material there to screw the grills into it should be fine.
