Depends how long you want to take to find all the deals on parts. The prob with a truck motor is that you will need to find a car oilpan, windage tray, pickup tube, intake, fuel rails, injectors, wire harness, pcm, and all the front drive accessories. What year car and auto or manual trans?

So then you need to get a transmission, flywheel, clutch, hydraulics. I would guess you'll be $5000 easy

And that just the parts, right?

Would an LS1 swap cost less? Obviously the engine is more expensive but you won't need as many part changed.
