Default need help with o2 extensions

going to be installing kooks with catted y, was wondering what length of o2 extensions i need for the pre cat o2's and the post cat o2's. figured extensions would be just as cheap as sims for the post cat o2's and tuning them out isn't a option as there are no local tuners around here.
any help would be great.
thanks

We keep the 18" extensions on the shelf. You could always tie any excess up out of the way. If you want to delete the rear O2 sensors, you can mail us the ECU and we can do a quick code delete for you. Would be cheaper than O2 sims if they were still available.

You'll want a set of 18" Casper Electronics Extensions for the front two O2's.

You shouldn't need any extensions for the rears. Even if you do plan to reinstall them, the factory harnesses will reach. I know I reinstalled mine in the Jet Hot Catted Y I have on the car.

There is an alternative to needing extensions at all.

The rear O2 Sensor Harnesses will reach the collector of your new LTs. You can change the pins in the PCM so that the rear harnesses control the front O2 Sensors.

Post #14 in the following thread has a very good explaination on how to perform this mod.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...g-install.html

Had I known about this prior to installing my LTs, I believe I would have gone this route.

Hope this helps. Good luck.
