Ring Gap question...
Yesterday I started filing my ring gaps. The specs that came with the Weisco rings calculated out to an 18-thousands gap for high-perf street/strip, or 20 thousands for street-moderate turbo/nitrous. Since I figured that nitrous may get used in the future, I decided to split the difference and gap my rings to 19 thousands. But... I got a little sloppy on a couple... one measured up at 20 thousands and one measured up to 21 thousands. The other 6 are right at 19.
Is that "close enough" or should I buy a couple more rings to replace those two? I can't see where being just a hair over is going to really have much of an impact, but before I put it together I figured I should check.

Update: I called my machinist for his opinion. He said leave it alone... a couple thousands on one ring isn't going to matter, especially after they all wear a little bit. Onward I go.
