Default Fixed a bunch of problems with the 4th gen yesterday

Hey guys,
I recently bought a 98 T/A LS1 A4 for $1500 with a messed up trans.
Got it fixed with a built 4l60e for $500
So far thats all the $ i have into it and its running great but i had some issues
1. windows didnt roll down
2. stereo didnt work
3. dash was cracked
4. a/c **** was broken and wouldnt switch to blow
5. interior was painted red with ricerish look

So i had some time and decided to look into some of these problems
Problems 1 and 2 were fixed with soldering some connections on the BCM FREE
Problem 3 was solved by taking it out and im waiting on a dash pad from Birdsandbowties which i can say that they have awesome customer service so far
Problem 4 was solved when i bought the car it had a bunch of stock extras(stock springs, a key fob, extra a/c control unit, new belt)
I also painted the red parts in the whole car interior a flat black but i will go back and do a semi-gloss b/c its too dull

I also programmed the key fob in less than 2 minutes thanks to the manual
and replaced a broken light bulb for the fogs
I still have to replace a gear on the head light motor b/c its sounding pretty nasty every time i lock the car...

So far ls1tech has helped me SOO MUCH id like to thank all you guys who take the time to make write ups for us normal folks

i also changed the oil 5.5 qts of 5w30 mobil1 just to make sure everything is nice inside

The cheapest way to fix your headlight gear is to take it out and just flip it around 180* so the good teeth are engaging. Or you can search the net and buy a metal gear.... IIRC about $40.
