Default before i redo the exhaust.. borla and classic chambered?

I'm thinking of picking this classic chambered piece and putting it in:

Classic Chambered 3030SB 3" Chambered Muffler

I'd put it off the ypipe and replace the long run with this going back to my borla. I'm not happy with the raspy sound of my borla driving it around, want something a little bit deeper tone and this would be cheap enough to try out before I dump the whole exhaust.

Anyone running something similar?

I have the medium length powerstick with longtubes and I get very little rasp. I don't think that the longer stick will fit comfortably in the i ipipe. I think the medium is the longest that you can use. But anyhow. I love the sound of the powerstick so much, that I took my magnaflow off, and place mine in the stock location with a dump.

Really deep, nice sound with no rasp. But I think if you keep your borla on, the powerstick will mellow out you borla exhaust and sound really good.

Or just do like i did and use just the classic chambered piece!

Overall length is 31" for the LNG. I'll have to measure and see how much room there is, I don't mind if most of the intermediate pipe length goes away

from what i know of chambered mufflers, the longer the muffler the deeper and more mellow tone that you get. Good luck! For what it may be worth, try emailing the owner of classic chambered, he can help you out a lot with which muffler may work best. I guarantee you will be happy with the sound. I bought one with only internet reveiws and was very well pleased.
