TH350 behind my LS1 engine
I have a built TH350 that has been sitting behind my buddies shop since 05 when I swapped it out of my LT1 for a T56. It bolted right up to the LT1, I believe I used the B&M kit that gave me a torque arm mount and I bought a MadMan dipstick for it.
First of all what are the odds it is still good, I believe it was put out there with the dipstick tube installed and the converter mounted, but there is a possibility that water and/or gunk has gotten in there. Any tips here, it was a good build when it was pulled.
Secondly, what is required to bolt this to an LS1? It's got a 3.5k TCI stall converter but I think I remember hearing that you have to run some type of adapter? Also, in the LT1 the stock shifter/cable worked, not sure about LS1.
Thanks!

Pull the pan off it and see what the fluid looks like, you can also get rebuild kits cheap

Well, I have a 9inch tailshaft Th350. So I know I can use the stock driveshaft. I have an A4 crossmember (looks like I'll have to get that modified).
My question is I have the stock A4 flexplate, will my th350 converter bolt up, do I need to use a spacer, etc.

The 98 model flexplate works and I think the 6.0 one does. I'm running the TCI piece on my car
You will have to run a spacer

I don't know if that will work or not, you might have a mod move this to the Auto trans section and you might get more answers
