Mahle Pistons Advertised Compressio ratio Mahle 3.898-3.905 bore/3.622 stroke pistons are advertised most everywhere these days buy I am finding that the majority of the vendors show compression ratios of 10.3-10.4:1 for 3.898-3.905 bores with 64cc heads. Mahles site says no more than 10:1 for all 3.898-3.905 with stock stroke. I have only found one vendor who has the CR ratings the same as the Mahle website. I have seen 10+ vendors with higher CR listed. Stock LS6 engines has 10.5:1 with 64.5CC heads. Mabey I am missing something?
JE 194883/4 units are 10.3 and 10.6:1 with 64/66cc heads. I want pistons with a true 10.5:1 ratio. I would like to use Mahles Powerpacks as they are much better priced and include rings. Any thoughts?
